The work "Birthing, Spreading, Growing" is an intricate tapestry of human existence that talks about the connections between our inner struggles and the societal expectations, desires, and norms that shape our lives. This mixed-media sculpture is a poignant exploration of the three fundamental stages of existence. The first stage, “birthing”, symbolizes the inherent pain of conscious existence and the excruciating process of coming into the world. The second stage, “spreading”, explores the torment of the human desire to spread thoughts, knowledge, genes, and ideologies, longing to be seen and heard. Finally, the third stage, growing, delves into the ceaseless pursuit of societal success and meaning.
